We love having visitors and sharing our sites with other pilots.

To protect our sites, we as a club take care to maintain the sites and the relationship with the owners, council and neighbours. Many of our launch sites and landing zones are on private property and some require phone calls to be made prior to launching, some are affected by Airspace and have Local SOPS in place.

Lennox Head & Numulgi have mandatory VHF requirements under CASA EX123/21 – Northern Rivers Hang Gliding and Paragliding Club Incorporated – Broadcasting Exemptions and Directions Instrument 2021. 

Pilots MUST 'check-in' to all sites prior to flying.

PRE-CONDITION TO FLYING ANY OF OUR SITES is that you register on this website under one of the many membership options and complete a site induction for each site. This will be recorded in the member's list available to members and Safety Officers. Please get in touch with one of our safety officers or senior pilots to facilitate this. Please read the site guides.

NSW visiting members are encouraged to read the NSWHPA Site Access & Visiting Pilot Guideline. 

We meet on the 2nd Friday of the Month at the Cherry Street, Sports Club, 68 Cherry Street Ballina NSW 2478 however due to Covid restrictions this has been difficult.

The agenda for that meeting will be posted a week prior to the meeting. We encourage all new members to attend.

We usually arrive at 6 pm for a meal and the meeting commences at 7 pm.
